Privacy Policy
Transparent Accounting Solutions, Inc. ("TAS") runs tas.report to give our clients private financial dashboards. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. Last updated October 16, 2026.
What we collect
- Sign-in information: the email address you sign in with, the time, and the network address of the request. We use it only to send your one-time code, keep you signed in for 24 hours, and protect the site from abuse.
- Accounting data you authorize: when an administrator of a company connects QuickBooks Online, we read that company's invoices, bills, customers, vendors, bank account balances and financial reports. We only read; tas.report does not change anything in QuickBooks.
- Files you provide us, such as bank statements or reports, used to prepare your dashboards.
How we use it
Only to prepare and show your company's reports to the people your company has authorized, and to provide the accounting services you engaged TAS for. We do not sell data, use it for advertising, or share it with anyone except as required by law or with your permission.
Who can see it
Each company's dashboards are visible only to the sign-in emails that company has authorized and to TAS staff working on the account. Every private page requires a fresh one-time code at least every 24 hours.
Where it is kept and for how long
Data is stored on TAS-controlled systems in the United States and sent only over encrypted connections. QuickBooks access keys are stored on the server with owner-only permissions. We keep data while you are a client and delete it within 90 days after the engagement ends or on request, unless we must keep records longer by law or professional standards.
Disconnecting QuickBooks
You can disconnect at any time from your QuickBooks Online account (Settings → Apps) or by asking us. We then stop all access and delete the stored keys.
